Sponsor a Student
Become another caring adult in the life of a student and join the Mind Matter Community of Opportunity! Each person in the Community of Opportunity is committed to our students’ success and believes that income should not be a barrier to higher education.
This program offers sponsors a direct line to a student as they make their way to college. Each student has personally opted into the sponsorship program and is excited to have you in their network.
The Commitment: Sponsorships cost $2,500 per year, and cover a student’s direct costs in Minds Matter. Once you are matched to a student, you will receive an introductory letter from them. Sponsors are encouraged to write letters to students as often as they’d like. Letters are delivered directly to students who will then respond. In addition to correspondence, Minds Matter facilitates two in-person events: a program visit to a meet a student and their mentors, and an annual luncheon to close out the year.
