Applications for the Class of 2022 are now closed.
To ensure the organization reaches the most qualified and committed students, Minds Matter has a rigorous and highly competitive application and interview process. The application is comprised of a student application, a counselor nomination, a teacher recommendation, and a parent consent form. Students must also submit a high school transcript and proof of demonstrated financial need.
Applications for the class of 2023 will open on February 10, 2020.
In order to apply to Minds Matter NYC, students needed to have all 4 sections completed by March 27, 2020.
Click the links below to view the forms. You will need to send the links for parts 2-4 to the appropriate adults.

Part 3: Teacher Recommendation (from a current 9th grade teacher)
Part 4: Parent Consent Form
In order to reach those who most need our services, Minds Matter is committed to serving students who are not being served by other programs, including students at highly resourced schools. As such, we do not accept students from New York City’s specialized high schools.
Minds Matter is an organization that rewards hard work, dedication, and achievement, and does not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or physical ability.
