Applications for the Class of 2026 will open on February 17, 2023!

How to apply

Minds Matter NYC is recruiting current high school freshmen (Class of 2026) to join our program in Fall 2023!

Student applicants must complete the following 4 sections by March 31, 2023. Click the links to view forms:

Part 1: Student Application

Part 2: Guidance/College Counselor Nomination Form

Part 3: Teacher Recommendation

Part 4: Parent/Guardian Consent Form

Please send links to Parts 2-4 directly to the appropriate adults.

A Minds Matter applicant must:

Be a freshman student in the 2022-2023 school year
Maintain a strong overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher
Be committed to pursuing a college education
Must qualify for free or reduced-price lunch
Demonstrate strong academic potential, motivation, maturity, and responsibility

In order to reach those who most need our services, Minds Matter NYC is committed to serving students who are not being served by other programs, including students at highly resourced schools. As such, we do not accept students from the following NYC high schools.
