Our Steps to Success

Identify

In partnership with a network of NYC high schools, each year we select 100 motivated students with the drive and academic potential to succeed.

Unite

Each student is paired with two adult mentors who guide, challenge, and celebrate their students. They also join a community of college-bound peers, fostering a network of encouragement.

Prepare

Students prepare for success through comprehensive programs that cultivate personal, professional, and academic skills: Writing & Critical Thinking, SAT Prep, and Summer Programs.

Support

College students meet as a cohort and one-on-one with college coaches for individual support. Monthly workshops on topics like academic success, building community, managing finances, and self-reliance build hard and soft skills.

Propel

A 7-year career readiness initiative that guides students from high school through college, Propel helps students explore career paths, build networks, and develop essential job search skills. Supported by corporate partners, Propel offers our students access to internships and full-time employment.
